Terry, Jim and Ann really enjoy a good song – wherever they may find one. And good songs seem to really enjoy this trio right back. That is, as the Mid-Range Trio lends its own brand of three-part harmony singing, acoustic instrumentation and rhythms – with original arrangements by Terry.

Their varied song list spans generations and popular genres. The trio can bring a curious new shine to nicked-vinyl favorites &ndash including some B-side gems. And they can sweetly rouse more old-time-y tunes as well.

As their name suggests, the Mid-Range Trio naturally share a certain tonal space: Terry is a vocally-rhythmic baritone, who plays stand-up bass, guitar and harmonica; Jim sings in a bucolic tenor and plays concert ukulele, fiddle and harmonica; and Ann's alto vocals find a warm fit in the multi-part harmonizing, as she also provides percussion and baritone uke.

Based in Massachusetts, all three have made music popularly with respective larger combos as well, over many years, and continue to do so.
